The American Red Cross Adult CPR/First Aid/AED training and certification meets the needs of workplace responders, professional rescuers, school staff, professional responders, and healthcare providers, as well as the general public.
The adult CPR/First Aid/AED course incorporates the latest practices and teaches students how to respond and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies and a variety of emergencies requiring first aid such as burns, cuts, head, neck and back injuries.
Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult CPR/FIRST AID/AED valid for two years.
Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED also available.
Day, evening and weekend classes available.
CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers – as an EMT, Firefighter, Athletic Trainer or Lifeguard, it is your duty to respond to cardiac or breathing emergencies until more advanced medical personnel can take over. From assessing needs and making decisions to providing care, this program provides the skills you need through discussion, video, and hands-on training, based on real life rescue scenarios. Cost covers adults, children, and infants.
CPR/AED Course for Professional Rescuer are available by appointment.
American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Courses are provided at the Long Island Training Center . This Heartsaver CPR/AED with optional First Aid course is intended for individuals who have to respond to cardiac emergencies as a requirement of their jobs. This course teaches students the critical skills needed to respond to and manage cardiac emergencies, as well as first aid and choking.
